Burmese Lacquerware Box

This unique and exotic Burmese Lacquerware Box was handcrafted by a talented artist in Bagan, Burma.  It's constructed using primitive lacquerware-making techniques.  The arduous multi-step process requires 8 months to produce.  At the final stage, the artist meticulously decorates the box with inlaid hand-cut Palm Leaf, and then skillfully draws cute animal and mythical figures on the box's lid.  It measures 8 inches in length, by 5.4 inches in width, by 3 inches in height.  This very unusual and striking box will add beauty and interest to your lovely home.  Includes free shipping in the U.S.
